POETRY

Farmer
He aint no knight in shining armor,
But he sure looks good in bibs.
He don’t carry me off on a white horse,
We do our work on a deer, John Deer.
He aint very romantic,
He aint what the world calls cool.
But to see him in action,
Now that’s what is good.
He knows the life,
He knows the way,
A farmer in this modern world.
What else can I say?

A brief moment shared in time, never forgotten.
In Loving memory of Normand Pavwoski.
1981-2008
