POETRY

Forest rain

The sky is grey,
The birds don’t sing,
Wind picks up,
Animals take shelter.
Thunder booms through the silence,
Lightening lights up the sky,
The rain pours down quickly,
It ends just as soon as it began.
The sky turns blue,
The birds sing,
Wind dies down,
Animals emerge.
